PS Bank Contributes $50,000 to Wyalusing Valley Volunteer Fire Company

PS Bank is pleased to announce a generous $50,000 donation to the Wyalusing Valley Volunteer Fire Company (WVVFC) to support the construction of a new fire hall. This donation marks the latest major contribution to the fire department’s ongoing efforts to build a new facility on Felter Way in Wyalusing. The total estimated cost of the new fire hall project is $2.2 million.

The WVVFC has been an essential part of the Wyalusing community for many years, providing vital fire and emergency services to local residents. The new fire hall is a critical part of the department’s efforts to modernize and expand its capabilities, ensuring that it can continue to serve the community effectively for decades to come.

PS Bank’s donation is part of a broader effort by local businesses, community members, and organizations to support the WVVFC’s capital campaign. The fire department previously announced plans for the new fire hall on July 22, 2024, and has since received significant backing from a variety of sources to help fund the project.
